Orbital Polisher LHR15ES BigFoot: the all-rounder for temperature-sensitive paints.
The eccentric polisher LHR15ES from Rupes is characterized by its 15 mm stroke and 125 mm backing plate and is ideal for working on curved surfaces. The LHR15ES, with a 15mm polishing stroke, is the little sister of the LHR21ES, but achieves the same polishing performance due to the slightly higher speed. In combination with the 130/150 mm BigFoot polishing pads, the polisher is an absolute treasure for any detailer.
Design: The elegant design is thanks to the Rupes development department, which also placed great emphasis on ergonomics. Some special features of the polisher are the minimal vibration, quiet operation, practical handle, and balanced machine body.
Anti-spinning protection collar: This protection collar has two functions. On one hand, it acts as a clutch to the backing plate when the sponge has no contact with the surface, and it protects the operator from moving parts.
Speed regulation: The electronic speed regulation, located on the handle, is not only easy to operate but also very practical. This offers the possibility to optimally adjust the speed even during polishing.
On/Off lock: The machine runs independently as soon as you press the button on the left side of the handle.
Free-spinning rotary-orbital: In terms of efficiency and surface processing quality, the best compromise at the moment. The backing plate follows a circular path (the circumference of which depends on the distance between the rotation axis of the drive shaft and the central axis of the rotor disc), while it is free to rotate around its own central axis.
Due to the centrifugal force of the eccentric movement and friction, the backing plate can rotate at different speeds and in different directions. If the friction forces are so strong that the rotation of the disc is blocked, although the tool is still working, it becomes a simple eccentric movement.
