The MAXXT Orbital Sander MDMS800 is a powerful 800W random orbital sander with a 150mm (6") sanding pad and 5mm orbit stroke, ideal for sanding, polishing and renovation work on wood, metal, masonry, wall and painted surfaces as well as automotive refinishing. Two switchable operating modes – Aggressive Turbo (forced rotation) for high material removal during coarse sanding, paint stripping and rust removal, and Random Orbit (free rotation) for fine sanding without scratch marks – make it a versatile all-rounder for furniture making, woodworking, automotive refinishing, restoration, filler work and DIY projects.
The powerful 800W motor with steplessly variable speed from 3,300 to 7,250 rpm, soft start for safe start-up and constant speed control for consistent performance under load deliver controlled working results. The 6-speed preset allows precise adjustment to material and application. The multi-hole sanding pad design supports standard 150mm hook-and-loop sanding discs with a wide variety of hole patterns for optimum dust extraction. The integrated 28mm dust extraction port is compatible with standard industrial vacuum cleaners – for a virtually dust-free and health-friendly working environment (note: vacuum hose not included).
The removable pad guard allows close-to-edge sanding right into corners and along edges. Well-thought-out ergonomics with rubberised grip, removable auxiliary handle for multiple gripping positions and LED power indicator ensure comfortable, safe and fatigue-free operation even during prolonged use.
